Privacy policy

This policy explains what data the PriceLedger app ("the app"), published by NEXT GESTION, collects from Shopify stores that install it, how it is used and how it is deleted.

Data we collect

When you install the app, Shopify gives it read-only access to your products and inventory. The app stores:

  • Your store domain, store currency and admin language.
  • The access token Shopify provides so the app can read your catalog.
  • For each tracked variant: product and variant title, SKU, image link, price, compare-at price and cost per item.
  • The history of changes to these values (old value, new value, date) and the alerts the app creates.
  • Your app settings and your current plan.

The app does not access or store any customer data: no names, emails, addresses, orders or payment information.

How we use it

The data is used only to show you your price and cost history, margins and alerts inside the app. We do not sell, rent or share it with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

Data is stored on a server we operate, accessible only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access is limited to NEXT GESTION staff who maintain the app.

Our website shows a presentation video hosted by YouTube (Google) in privacy-enhanced mode. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you click play; YouTube's privacy policy then applies to the video.

Retention and deletion

  • The data is kept while the app is installed on your store.
  • When you uninstall the app, your access token is deleted right away.
  • 48 hours after uninstall, Shopify sends us a deletion request and we delete all data related to your store, including the full history.
  • You can ask for deletion earlier by writing to contact@nextgestion.com.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete the data the app holds about your store at any time by contacting us. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the rights given by the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
